Disable sound when vault is closed

Hi there,

I must admit that I was a bit frightened when I closed my MacBook the first time after having installed 1password. The vault also closed with a sound reminding me on a hard disk head crash. I know this might be a personal issue but I would really like to get rid of the sound. I did not find any option in the preferences pane. Maybe I can change the according sound file?

Hi thu75,

I’m sorry about this, we used to have this as a preference but it looks like it was taken away. I’ll be sure to let our developers know about this and add it as an option in a future update.

I’m not sure if you can change it now. I’ll get back to you on this.

Just to follow up, I can confirm there is not currently a way to disable sounds in 1Password for Mac. We will look into adding an option in a future release.
