Semi-forgotten logins?

Options
Since upgrading to Lion, Safari 5.1, and 1Password 3.6.1, it seems sorta like my old saved passwords … aren't, anymore. Kinda.

Specifically:

- There are still oodles of saved "Logins" an "Accounts" and "Secure Notes" and "Software" and one "Identity." Casual clicking through these looks like everything's still there.

- None the less, while browsing, I frequently get 1Password-prompted as to whether to save the current password, even though none have been changed.

Unfortunately, I haven't yet managed to (a) see a saved password in 1Pass application, (<img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' /> confirm the stored password, © visit the site, <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_drink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='(d)' /> get the "save it again?" prompt. So I can't narrow down the possibilities: maybe some of my entries were lost, maybe some are somehow no longer getting linked to the right pages, maybe something else.

Is there logging I can enable that might help here?

Sorry for the trouble, here, jrep.

Could you please try the new Beta release (3.6.5.BETA-3) and see if it fixes this problem? You can do this by going to the 1Password > Preferences window, selecting the Update panel, enable the "Include Beta versions" checkbox, and then click Check Now. Once the update is installed, try again and see if it helps.

    Thanks!

the minus one above is a mistake on my part, I am not familiar with this forum system.

No problem, rosswell. It's the thought that counts (or perhaps the lack of an actual negative thought in this case). <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

I gave you a plus one just to balance out our karma (or something). <img src='http://forum.agile.ws/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I see another thread in which you posted and am going to check it out right now.

    Cheers,
