after re-install - key not working anymore

I needed to reinstall my Laptop from scratch.
Now when i installed 1password it says 'invalid key'.
(I have a family licence for windows)
Do I need a new key each time I re-install one of my pcs?
Any suggestion what to do?

BTW: I have a licence for my ipad, mac too
Not sure why.... but after 3 times entering the key .....and after that a reboot and re-enter the key it worked
