Hey guys, im close to give up on your software.
Im really sad, because i just loved it. But no matter what i do, i cant make it work.
I just cannot Sync My iPhone 3gs IOS 4 where i have 1password Pro 3.5.2(latest version) with my Windows 7 computer.
My KeyChain is located at: F:\Documents\Docs\My Dropbox\1Password.agilekeychain
at this location 1passwords created the following file: My Dropbox.ws.agile.1Password.settings,
here is the contents of .settings file:
My Dropbox/1Password.agilekeychain
Everything looks fine, but every time i try to sync my iphone it keeps saying that he Cannot find 1password data file.
does anyone else got any idea about what is wrong ?

I'm not giving up, but I'm getting the same error. The application on the Macs works great when syncing with DropBox, but I can't get the iPhone 4 to sync. I've tried all sorts of things, including creating a new keychain, etc. I noticed when setting up 1password on my desktop the first time that it had detected a keychain in my DropBox folder, which I thought was odd, because I don't remember having using 1Password before, but when I tried to use that alleged keychain, it wouldn't work, so I just created a new keychain and went with it. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Eventually I removed ~/Library/Application Support/1Password altogether and started over (and that got rid of the initial prompt to use some non-existent file in DropBox), but the iPhone still says it can't find the data file in DropBox, after all of those shenanigans. any help?Flag 0

I finally solved my problem by following [url="http://getsatisfaction.com/agilewebsolutions/topics/failed_to_find_the_data_file_on_dropbox"]these instructions[/url]. I hadn't realized that the breadcrumb had not been created. And then when I created it manually at first, I used vim, but it must have been inserting a newline character or something. Using the echo command as specified there finally worked.Flag 0

You should work at 1password friend...
The error message: Cannot find data file, is related to the name of pointer file being wrong. So renaming .settings file on DropBox folder to: .ws.agile.1Password.settings make sync work.Flag 0
