still problems with IE9

Hi guys,



I run IE9 on Windows Vista 32 bits.

I've read your FAQ and "1P missing button" tutorial but I still have problems.



On an admin session, all is fine, I have the 1P button in IE9 and can use a admin database from the browser.



On a simple user session, I can use my user database from the 1P application. However, with this simple user session, I am unable to get the 1P button in IE9, even following your tutorial (1P does not appear in the available command bar and I am not running 64 bits Windows), even reinstalling 1P application...



What's funny (if I can say), is that if in my simple user session I launch IE9 as an admin (click right, launch as...), I have the 1P button, but it is linked to the database located in the admin session <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_sadsmile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-(' />



Did you ever notice this behavior ? As for security concern I work with a simple user session, I can not use 1P with IE9. Chrome and FF are OK however with the simple user session.

    This makes sense, but it is not recommended. When you launch an application "as administrator", then you might be launching it in the context of some other user.

    Ok, thank your for the information.



    Any help for the 1P button in a standard user session ?
  • I'm not able to reproduce that problem: I originally ran the installer in an admin account and always accept updates in an admin account, and 1Password is available in IE in a non-admin account, as well.

    When you click the gear icon in the upper-right corner, and then click "Manage add-ons", do you see the 1Password add-on under "toolbars and extensions"?



    If not, then please click the gear icon (again), and then click "Internet options". Is "enable third party browser extensions" (available under "browsing") turned on?

    1P was not activated in the "toolbard and extensoions"...
