Incorrect Password

I have a problem where the the Login/Password entered and saved in 1P works fine, but when examined in 1Password for Windows, although the Login is correct, the password is completely different and in fact much longer (32 characters) than the 15 character correct password entered and saved in 1P.

Any ideas what the problem might be? I have already tried a new agilekeychain database and also de-installing/re-installing 1Password for Windows, all to no avail.

I am using Windows 7 and Firefox 9.01

Sounds like the web site is sending a hashed version of the password to the server. Whenever this happens, our advice is to manually save a login item:

1. enter your username and password, but *do not* submit the login form

2. click on the 1P button

3. click on the button labelled "Save Login..."



Now create a new login item (or overwrite an existing login item), and you should be OK.
