IE CTRL-\ not working on login.microsoftonline.com (1.0.9.272)

Hi all,



On two 32-bit Windows 7 systems with IE 9, the 1Password extension does not work with the login form at http://login.microsoftonline.com/. Both systems have 1Password 1.0.9.272.



Both machines work correctly when using Firefox 10 for the same web site.



The Safari extension on Mac OS X works fine as well.



Thanks for looking at this. Great app, love it and use it all the time.

Is the problem that the extension for IE fails to fill in the form with the credentials you've saved for that site?



In what browser and on what platform did you save the Login item item for that site?



Have you tried saving a new Login item for that site?

Yes, exactly. The extensions for Firefox and Safari work OK.

I don't recall. Probably Safari on Mac.



I guess I don't understand why that would make a difference. Can you explain how/why?

I'm sorry that you're having this problem. Please try saving the login manually like this:



1. Enter your username and password, but DO NOT submit the form.

2. Click the 1Password button in your browser's toolbar

3. Click the "Save Login" button.

3. Change the title and, optionally, assign a folder.

4. Click the "Save" button.



Using the above technique I was able to save and fill a sample login in Safari at:



http://login.microsoftonline.com/



Manually saving a login can be useful for logins that are either problematic to begin with or were once working but have since stopped. Doing this allows 1Password to refresh everything it "knows" about the page. Login pages often change as websites are updated and this can be a necessary but very useful tip. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

atlauren, if the new Login item you save on your PC works on your Mac, too, then you can simply delete the old one.



If it doesn't, you might have to maintain both (a PC version and a Mac version).
