Beta Program Status?

Okay, after the official release of the 3.9.4 MAS version, the beta is wreaking havoc and leading to this Apple dialog box (see attached file). Is the beta program dead? <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_sweating.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='(sweat)' />

I'm not familiar with that error. Hopefully Roustem can shed some light. Possible solution: delete the app (stable and beta) and reinstall it from the MAS. Your data is stored separately, so it won't be harmed.



Let me know if that helps. It appears there may be an issue with the container, though...

What initially happens—if you have the MAS version archived (.sitx or .zip) is that the App Store starts prompting you that something is amiss. If you run the latest beta then it leads to the the window I posted, but not after going through two other windows (I thought it best not to post them here). After unstuffing the MAS version, the App store properly does it thing. I have no issues running the MAS 3.9.4 version. I knew Teare was out to get me, but... <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_wondering.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':^)' />

Had you renamed "1PasswordBeta" to "1Password"? Did you try to use the MAS to update the beta build?



Now that the release version is out, you should not be using the beta build anymore, so you can safely delete it.

No. Archived the MAS version while using the beta.

The reason for this thread's subject is whether or not the beta program is still active? I would like to continue the 1P MAS beta. One of the reasons MAS is not appealing to me is lack of beta participation. AgileBits brought back this sorely lacking ability that allows people like me to live on the razor's edge.

As far as I know, the "beta program" (if that's what you want to call it) is still active. There just isn't a beta available right now. I think of it more as: AgileBits makes the beta versions available for download as they are built. For now the most current version is 3.9.4 stable. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />



I'm sure we'll be posting 3.9.5 betas as they are available just as we did for the 3.9.3 betas before the 3.9.4 ones.

It looks like the sample receipt we used for beta builds has expired.



I am going to make a new build today to fix this.

There is no beta version at this time. The most current version of 1Password 3.9 is 3.9.4 which is the version available from the App Store.
