Utilizing Password History?

Silly question, but how does one utilize the Password History feature? I generated a new password for a login thinking I could copy->paste the old one from the history. Oops. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Any thoughts on why 1Password would bother maintaining a history if you cannot use them in case of a UBF?

Welcome to the forums, RPMPR. You'll need to reveal the password in order to copy it. Make sure that View > Conceal Passwords is unchecked.

Bonus: If you just want to glance at a password you can hold down CTRL+R. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

@Khad: you do not need to reveal the password in order to copy it. You can always copy a password.

@RPMPR: the password history is here: View > Generated Passwords

Stefan, I think we may be talking about two different things.

I was referring to the Password History in a single Login item. There is no "Copy" button next to passwords in the Password History section of a Login item's details. Such passwords cannot be copied without revealing them:

I think you are correct that the original post is about Generated Password items, though. In that case one can just click the "Copy" button next to the password field:
