fidelity.com stopped working with firefox

I could happily login to fidelity.com without any problem when suddenly it stopped working declaring that I had an invalid username/password. I can still login manually, so the username/password I'm using is correct. I've also tried deleting the login I had and creating a new one. Still no luck. I may have updated Firefox and/or 1password before it stopped working. The versions I'm using now are:

Firefox: 10.0.2

1Password: 3.8.17

MacOS: 10.7.3

Thanks for looking into this.

Welcome to the forums, nnovod. I'm sorry that you are having this problem.

My Fidelity.com Login is working well in Firefox with the latest 1Password extension (3.9.0). What version of the extension are you using?

You'll need to manually edit the username since Fidelity replaces the first characters of it with asterisks.
  • I'm using extension version 3.9.0 (1password version is 3.8.17). As I mentioned, it all worked fine till a week or two ago. Now that I've tried reentering the name/password it appears to get the username correctly but then submits the form without filling in the password.

    Thanks.

I was just able to reproduce this. Thanks for following up. I'll pass this along to the developers!
  • Any news on this?

    Thanks.

We just released an updated version of our 1Password extension for Firefox that should work much better on sites like Schwab and Fidelity. Please try updating to it to see if it'll work.

To update to the beta version, click the install button for the Firefox extension in 1Password's preferences on the Browsers tab.

Check "Allow beta extensions" on the right side and then click the Download on the right side for your browser, it should then update you to the Beta version.

Please let me know how it turns out.
  • I didn't install the beta version but suddenly the fidelity account has started working.

    Thanks.

It looks like the devs were too agile and pushed the update to the stable channel today. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Glad things are working well now. If you ever need anything else let me know.

    Cheers,
