Problems saving passwords and autofilling DNN forms

Hi,

Has anyone else noticed any trouble saving logins and auto-filling DotNetNuke-based web site login forms?

I'm not having much luck with build 1.0.9-BETA-282 and Chrome 17.0.963.78.

Regards,

Paul

    Hey Paul,

I'm not sure if you mean an admin Login or member Login. Do you have a specific URL that I can test? Have you already tried saving a new Login?

    Hi,

The specific site that I was having trouble with originally was http://tendercareofva.com/login.aspx but 1Password just captured the login when I tried it again a moment ago. Go figure.

Here's another, though - http://theworkforceequation.com.dnnmax.com/ where 1Password is not prompting me to save the login.

    Thanks again!

Please take a look at the "Problems Saving Logins Automatically" section in the User Guide. Specifically, it sounds like you may already have a Login saved for that site using the same password:
1Password will only prompt to save unique passwords once per website. If you already have a Login saved with the same password for the same website you will not be prompted to save a new Login. You should use unique passwords, but if you choose not to, you will need to manually save the second login using the + button in the upper right corner of the extension.
In that case, you can manually save a Login:

    1. Navigate to the web page in question using your web browser of choice.

    2. Enter your username, password, and any other required fields if applicable (security code, PIN, etc), but DO NOT submit the form.

    3. Click the 1Password button in your browser's toolbar, and select the "+" button in the upper right hand corner.

    4. Change the title and make any notes (if desired).

    5. Click the Save button in the upper right hand corner.

Let me know if you are still having trouble. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Brilliant, I didn't think about going about saving it that way. All set now, thanks!! <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />
