Family member license?
Hi all,
I just recently purchased the family member pack for Windows. In the email I received, I only got one license key. Here are my questions:

How does this work for the other 4 family members? Do I give them the same license key?

How are their passwords differentiated from mine? I don't see any "accounts" that my license key is tied to..

This license can be used on as many PCs as needed, but only 5 users can use it, correct?
Thank you!

Welcome to the AgileBits family, Twoje! <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
Each of the other four members of your household will use the same license key.
The license key is completely unrelated to your data (and, hence, master password).
A 1Password for Windows license entitles 5 members of the same household to use 1Password for Windows on as many PCs as the 5 of you can collectively afford. There is no limit to the number of machines, only users.
I hope that helps.

So what is preventing people from using a single-user license key for multiple people?Flag 0 -
Trust.
Honor.
Integrity.
Respect.
Caring about other people like me and the rest of the team who work hard to make an honest living writing and supporting good software that you use and appreciate.
Would you prefer we treat you like a thief and make activation cumbersome? <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />Flag 0
