Feature Request: Folders in the browser extensions

On Windows 7, I have just upgraded to Firefox 11 and installed an updated (beta) 1password extension (3.9.1.b1)

I used to be able to navigate quickly using folders, now all I get is a long list of logins that I have to scroll through which is not very productive <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_sadsmile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-(' />

Is there a way to get the folder hierachy as shown in the 1Password main application to show up as it used to before I updated?

At this time, the extension does not have support for folders.

To quickly access a Login, though, you can simply press CTRL+\ and then begin typing to search. Press ENTER to Go & Fill the Login from the "Open Login in…" section.

You can also just double-click a Login from within a folder in the main application. Just be sure to configure 1Password's preferences for this:

And last, but not least, you can hold down the ALT key while dragging a Login item to the bookmarks bar in your browser. This will create a 1Click Bookmark that will Go & Fill just like selecting an item in the extension. You can create folders of 1Click Bookmarks right in your browser. This will allow you to even log into all the sites in the folder at once! Pretty handy.

I'll pass your vote for folders in the extension along to the developers. In the meantime, I hope one of the many other options available will suffice. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Yes, another vote to bring the folders back in FireFox browser extension. At least give us the option. I have all of mine sorted for home, work, play,....

    Win 7

    Firefox 10.0.3ESR

    Extension 3.9.0 Firefox for Windows

    1password 1.0.9.287

Question: where can I get Extension 3.8.9 Firefox for Windows? (downgrade)

So, is it possible to downgrade until this gets fixed?

No previous version of the 1Password extension will work in Firefox 11.

I use 1password for both Mac and Windows. I am a Mac person at heart, but have to say I have always like the group view interface that came with the Windows browser and have never liked the Mac interface.

On my latest Firefox update and 1Password update, my Windows Firefox lost its group view interface and switched to the "mac interface"

Is there any preference that I can set to get my old group view browser interface back for Firefox in Wondows? Ironically, I still have the group view in Internet Explorer for Windows.

    Please help.

Sorry that I cannot help but just add to the complaint.

I plainly dislike the new add-on interface.

    - The folders are missing

    - The thumbnails are missing

all in all - it is unclear and not comfortable.

Additionally, there are frequent problems with the Helper process, which was not necessary for Firefox by now.

Please bring the folders and thumbnails back to the add-on interface.

    Firefox 11.0

The old extension does not work in Firefox 11, so there is no way to "go back" without reverting to older versions of both 1Password and Firefox which we neither support nor advise for security reasons.

The extension is now unified across Safari, Chrome, and Firefox for Mac and Windows, and I will make sure that the develoers know you would like to see folders in the extension!

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

    Cheers,

.. and, please, don't forget to tell them about the thumbnails!!!

    Thank you very much.
