Changes in the new Firefox extension

Hello,

I'm having a problem with the 1Password Firefox extension.

Version information:

1Password Windows 1.0.9.288

1Password browser ext: 3.9.0

Firefox: 11

For what it's worth, I have the same problem with the browser extension on the Mac (Mac ver. 3.8.17 build 31272).

In brief, the 1Password entry under the "Tools" menubar item is gone.

Ctrl-\ brings up the same display as I would get by pressing the "1Password" browser toolbar button. However, this does not present my logins organized by folder (which is extermely convenient with many passwords), and I no longer get an option to save, or never save, a password for a site.

Oddly enough, the functionality is still there in Internet Explorer ... just not in Firefox.

Could we get this back in Firefox, please?

Thanks,

- John L.

    Hi John,

I don't want to skip over anything else in your post, but it sounds like the main issue is the lack of support for folders in the new extension. We have a feature request thread already in progress if you want to chime in there. (I will pass your vote along to the developers, though, so don't feel compelled to post in the other thread unless you really want to.)

As for autosave, please make sure that you have this enabled in the extension's settings (under "Logins").

The 1Password Firefox extension doesn't add anything to the menu bar ("Tools" or otherwise), so you shouldn't be seeing any items in the menu related to 1Password. This is working as designed.

Please let me know if you have any further questions. I'd be glad to answer them!
