How To: Remove an item from a folder

I have created a folder, plain ole, not smart. I put some logins in it. They are tagged.

At a later time, I created a smart folder and now those tagged files in it. If I delete the plain ole folder (which still has those tagged files) will it also delete the files in it (which also happen to be in the smart folder?)

Actually, I just did this, and a prompt comes up asking me what to do with those files, so good.

So what I REALLY want to know is:

(If I have a folder whose contents is being managed by a smart folder) how do I safely remove or just MOVE the files from a folder without deleting them entirely?-->file management

Thank you for your smarts n heart,

Zoe

Great question, Zoe! Thanks for asking this.

If I understand the question correctly, you can just drag an item from the folder to the VAULT section at the top of the sidebar on the left to remove it from a folder.

    I hope that helps. Please let me know. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
