Browser Extensions not working

When I try using the browser extension in Firefox or Chrome it doesn't work. I enter the password and it appears to be fine but instead of opening the program it starts counting up. It's strange I never seen anything like it. Any ideas on how to get this working again?

[s]Sorry that you're having some trouble, sperry1975. Please try following the instructions in our support article to completely remove and reinstall the extensions:

    http://support.agile...ecognize-it-mac

The instructions for Firefox are very specific, so please be sure that you remove the OnePassword.sqlite file as indicated in the article.

If you're still having trouble, could you please send us a Diagnostics Report?

In 1Password 3.8, just select Help > Troubleshooting > Diagnostics Report from the menu bar.

If you are using 1Password 3.9 (from the Mac App Store), you'll need to follow the instructions here:

    http://support.agile...lebits-help-you

Then attach the entire file to an email to support AT agilebits.com.

Please include a link to this thread in order that we might more quickly "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, though.[/s]
  • This is not happening on my mac. It's happening on my PC, sorry if I didn't specify before. I tried uninstalling the extension and reinstalling it for both firefox and chrome, but it didn't work. When I put in my password it still says Connecting: ### where the number signs are numbers that are counting up into infinity.
  • I just tried emailing you all an attachment (diagnostics report) but evey time the email bounced back. The only email that went through was the one without the attachment. Can I post the attachment here?

Sorry for the confusion, sperry1975. You originally posted in the "1Password for Mac Browser Extensions" forum. I've moved the thread into the Windows support forum now.

I'm not sure why anything would bounce back. We get many emails every day with attachments. We ask that you do not post your Diagnostics Report publicly (for your own sake). None of your data is in it, but your license key and log entries are. You probably don't want that floating around the Internet. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

You can try attaching it to a PM to me here on the forums if you are still having trouble. Or open a private support ticket on our support site and attach it there:

While you are waiting for us to review the report, could you please try all the steps in the troubleshooting guide including and especially configuring any proxy server or security software you may be using:
