Configuring behavior of master password

Hello,

1Password is a great application that does a good job on securing and protecting passwords. I have it installed in Windows, Mac and iPhone!

I have a following question concerning configuration of the behavior of master password.

When I want to check some password for some site, I am required to enter master password. I know that I can change it so that it does not require of me to enter master password for the particular site. Is it possible to change for all site-passwords the option of not entering master password, or must I change for each site-password manually?

Best regards,

Aleksandar

    Hello Aleksandar,

Unfortunately, there is not a method for making mass edits to the High/Low security option. Consequently, you will need to change each individually. If you find the iPhone's screen a bit cumbersome for making these edits, you may make them in 1Password for Mac and then sync the changes back to your iPhone. However, it is quicker for me to use the iPhone. I just tap an entry, swipe to the bottom of the screen, slide the Master Password Protection setting to "OFF", tap Logins at the top of the screen, and move on to the next one.

    I hope this helps. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

    Cheers!
