Hi all

I installed Win8 CP with IE10 on board, but since then I don't have the entry under "Tools" nor do I have any button. When will this be supported?

Regards

Martin

    Hi Martin,

Thanks for asking about this. 1Password supports the current stable versions of Internet Explorer (as well as Firefox, Chrome, and Safari). Beta, developer, and other prerelease builds are not supported.

There is not even an official release date announced for Windows 8 yet. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

We don't normally pre-announce products or features, but please keep an eye on the AgileBits blog, Twitter, and Facebook for news.

If we can be of further assistance in the meantime, please let us know. We are always here to help!
  • Any news on the support of Internet Explorer 10? It's really annoying that I cannot use 1Password, since I'm using the Consumer Preview of Windows 8 as my primary OS, and I know I'm not alone.

I've been using 1Password reasonably successfully with Win8 (build8250) and IE10. there are a few peculiarities. for example, if I use CNTL-\ in a multi-tabbed copy of the browser, and create a new login, it will save it with the URL from the wrong tab. it's also very difficult to sign into this forum using IE10. but all in all, it's not that bad.

Thanks for the additional information, David! This is certainly on our radar for the future. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Windows 8 has been out for several weeks now along with IE10. The 1password button can be found under the "command bar" right click next to the tab->command bar. It has been really annoying to use IE 10 and 1password as the look-n-feel of the plug in is not the same as other browsers http://d.pr/i/QEjo. Also I'm force to log in with my master password every site I want to login to.

    Have you tried this?

    1) do not close IE, or

    2) enable this setting: File > Preferences (Ctrl+P) > IE > "keep 1Password extension unlocked when IE is closed"

    1.0.9.BETA-310 should fix this.

Can you please download 1.0.9.BETA-310 and confirm the fix? Thanks!
