New Data Types

Newbie here, trying out the software. Are we restricted to predefined item types or is it possible to modify an existing type to create a new one? For example can I modify the "Bank Account" type to create a "Brokerage Account" data type, which might contain some additional fields.

    At this time, 1Password does not support template customization. However, I use a "Bank Account" item for my own brokerage account and just select "Other" for the type. I don't have any data that exceeds the fields provided, but if you find that you need a bit more flexibility in your own case you can always enter as much additional information as you please in the "Notes" field. Every item has a "Notes" field.
