Displaying passwords for "enter 3rd, 7th & 13th character" type logins

An increasing number of my logins - particularly bank related - use login processes where you have to enter a few (3 or 4) characters of your password. For an example of this look at https://www.capitaloneonline.co.uk/CapitalOne_Consumer/Login.do
I would love it if the password display in 1Password made pulling the right characters out of password easier. For example some form of ruler effect with small numbers on underneath the password. I find working my way to the right place on a 20 character password a complete pain - and I sometimes get it wrong. A little help would be great!
For even more brownie points, if this could be done in the browser extension too....
Nigel.

I've got round that a bit by, in the notes section of the relative bank login, putting the numbers from 1 to X (in my case 15 because that's the length of my password) and then, underneath each number, putting the relative password character. Still have to do it manually but avoids counting and can input the characters much more quickly. Unfortunately it doesn't work in the browser extension because the window isn't big enough so the numbers and characters are jumbled up and it's a total mess!Flag 0 -
We are always look at ways to improve, but for now the best solution is to put the information in the Notes field as suggested above and in a previous thread on this topic:

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with!Flag 0 -

I put the password in the Notes field, in groups of five characters rather than all in one group. That makes it easy to see the seventeenth or eighth character.

Cool. Just changed mine and now they can be seen on the iPhone version as well. Thanks for that <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />Flag 0
