Windows version update problems

On about 8 of the last 10+ updates suggested by 1password, the program update fails at creating a directory (because it already exists). I am using windows 7 64bit. It works flawlessly on my macs. When this happens, I must uninstall 1password, and then delete the directory from windows explorer, download the new version and reinstall.
