Cant extract 1 Password 3

I haven't updated 1 Password for sometime. I am running OS 10.6.8. When I tried to download the updates I get an error message "An error occurred while extracting the archive. Please run again." I have checked the system for other updates and none are needed.

In addition the 1 Password icon is missing form my brower bar and I it's not available to add it back.

Does anyone have some advice?

    Welcome to the forums, traumarn. Thanks for taking the time to contact us. I'm sorry that you are having this problem.



    Please try downloading 1Password directly from the AgileBits website:

    Drag it to your Applications folder — overwriting your existing copy.



    Once the app is working well, you can install the extension from 1Password's preferences.



    If you're still having trouble, could you please send us a Diagnostics Report?



    In 1Password 3.8, just select [b]Help > Troubleshooting > Diagnostics Report[/b] from the menu bar.



    Then attach the entire file to an email to support AT agilebits.com.



    Please include a link to this thread in order that we might more quickly "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.
