Syncing with Google Chrome

I have given up trying to figure out how to sync with Dropbox. I have installed the Google Chrome extension but for some reason, 1Password is not syncing with Chrome. I would appreciate some help. Thanks

Welcome to the forums, dmd31842. Thanks for taking the time to contact us. I'm sorry that you are having this problem.



Dropbox syncing is very simple to set up. If you have [url="http://dropbox.com"]Dropbox[/url] installed on your PC, just click the "Move to Dropbox" button in 1Password's preference on the General tab. As for the trouble with the extension, it sounds like perhaps you may be behind a proxy server or have a program installed that is blocking the connection to the Helper. Please try all the steps in our troubleshooting guide:

In that case, your keychain is already "under Dropbox control", or some other keychain [b]having the exact same name[/b] is in your Dropbox.

But sadly, my 1password is still NOT showing the same list that my Dropbox folder is showing on my computer!!

It sounds like you may have two different data folders. What is the path that is listed in 1Password's preferences. As shown in the screenshot, my own path is:



[CODE]C:\Users\khad\Dropbox\1Password\1Password.agilekeychain[/CODE]

OK. Here is mine. Is this OK? When I open 1Password on my iphone it shows 52 items. When I open 1Password on my computer it says 72 items. Help!!!

Please open your Dropbox folder in Explorer and move the folder called 1Password.agilekeychain to your Desktop (or somewhere else where you can access it later if you need to).



Then you should be able to click the "Move to Dropbox" button.
