2 1Pkeychain sync via Dropbox?
I have my 1password syncing via dropbox on both my Mac, iPhone, iPad and Windows. Under Linux i use 1Password anywhere. So far so good.
Via my work i use also 1Password (another keychain) syncing via dropbox on another account. I've send an invite to my first dropbox account to use my 1Password keychain (shared folder in dropbox) from my second account.
The problem is that both folders are calling '1Password', so i've renamed the second folder "1PasswordWork". I've notice that the keychain for the second account won't sync and that 1Password 'automagical' turn off the Dropbox sync on the second account... how can i fix it so i can use 2 1Password keychain via shared folders in Dropbox please?

At this time only a single data file is supported per Dropbox account. 1Password is not designed to switch between two different data files on the fly, so there is only support for "the data file" (especially in the mobile apps) rather than "this data file" or "that data file."
I would strongly recommend that you do not attempt to have two data files located in the same Dropbox account, so that you don't run into trouble.
I'm sorry I don't have a better answer right now, but please let me know if there is anything else I can help with.Flag 0 -

As thightower mentioned there is no release date at this time, but please do keep an eye on our blog, Twitter, and Facebook accounts for news and updates. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
As for "multiple identities", I'm going to assume that you are not referring to the actual "Identities" feature that already exists in 1Password for filling name and address information when registering with a site or checking out while shopping online. You can already have more than one Identity item (File > New Item > New Identity).
Rather, I'm guessing that you meant multiple data files since that is the topic of this thread. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
The concept of sharing and multiple data files within 1Password has been suggested a number of times and it's certainly a very interesting and useful idea! We are considering this for the future, but it is quite a substantial change to how 1Password works right now which means a lot of time and testing is required to add this feature.
So with that said, I really can't make any promises on a time frame for when we may be able to bring this to 1Password, but that doesn't mean we won't. We've always believed in trying to be as honest and realistic with our users as possible rather than making lots of empty promises.
I'm sorry I can't give you a more positive answer right now, but thank you so much for letting us know that you would find this useful. We do take the number of users who request a feature into consideration when we decide on our feature lists.
In the meantime, importing and exporting 1Password Interchange Files is a great way to transfer information between different installations of 1Password (File > Export). It is not automated, but for my purposes it works well since I am not constantly changing the passwords I share with others. This way each use can have private 1Password data and import only the items they need from the rest of the team.
(Please be aware that the 1PIF information is not encrypted and should be handled with care while in transit and securely deleted once the information is safely imported into an encrypted 1Password data file.)
Let me know if there is anything else I can help with in the meantime.

Thx again for the info! the "multiple identities" are not the actual "Identities" feature that already exists in 1Password for filling name and address information. I'm looking forward to v4 (and further?) to see that feature.
