Kickstarter problem

I can't seem to use 1password with Kickstarter. Every time I try, it fills in the fields as though it were making a new account as opposed to filling in the login fields. Do you know of a way to get around this? I've got a screenshot of the login page attached. Thanks!

It is now working. Not sure why it changed behaviors, but I'm glad it's working now!

It sounds like you saved a Login at the registration page, so all your registration data is in the Login item and 1Password is doing exactly what it does best: fill the information you have told it fill based on what you told it to save. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />



The fix for this is simple, always make sure you save the form and the data that you want 1Password to fill. In your case you can just delete your current Kickstarter Login item and create a new one on the Login page:

If you're having trouble with autosave for any reason — it won't work if you already have a Login saved for Kickstarter with the same password; that's why you deleted your previous Kickstarter Login item — you can manually save a new Login for any page like this:



1. Enter your credentials, but DO NOT submit the form.

2. Click the 1Password button in your browser's toolbar, and select the "+" button in the upper right hand corner.

3. Change the title and make any notes (if desired).

4. Click the Save button in the upper right hand corner.
