SBBOD When Searching After Restart

OS X 10.8 (12A269).
Processor 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.
Memory 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3.
This is a minor irritation than anything but when I do my first search in 1PW following a restart, I get the SBBOD for just under 10 seconds. Thereafter the search does not exhibit the same issue even following quit and relaunch of 1PW. It seems to be linked to the system restart.
I mention the issue because I can reliably repeat it. I make sure the system is not busy with anything else before and I have over 4GB of RAM free and 48GB of free disk space (~20% free).
Is this a problem with my system setup or is it a 1PW issue?
It used to happen with Lion too.

No need to apologise. Like I said, its a minor issue. Isn't this what "beta" is all about anyway?
Rebuilding the data file got rid of the SBBOD but replaced it with another minor niggle.
If I type 3 keystrokes (the distinguishing characters for the item I want), 1PW seems to accept the first, pause for a second or two and then display the results for the first keystroke. It's like everything after that is thrown away and I have to retype. This is very different from the behaviour of Spotlight for example.
Again, once the first search is done everything works just fine afterwards even after quit/relaunch.Flag 0 -
There actually isn't a beta version available at the moment. 3.8.20 is in the stable channel. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
It sounds like you are saying the delay only happens on the very first search after a restart of your Mac? I just want to make sure of that.
I'm surprised the rebuild didn't completely resolve the issue. Could you send us a Diagnostics Report? We'd love to take a look and see what could still be causing the delay even after rebuilding your data file.
In 1Password 3.8, just select Help > Troubleshooting > Diagnostics Report from the menu bar.
Then attach the entire file to a private support ticket:

Please include a link to this thread in order that we might more quickly "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

That's correct.

Done. Please don't expend much energy on this unless you think the integrity of my keychain is at risk. It is really a very minor problem now.Flag 0
