1Password - Locking instantly with Firefox extension 3.7.5

I am using Firefox 5.0.1 due to having many (several dozen) .htaccess/httpauth web sites and none of the other browser/plugin combos allow auto-fill for these forms. I have been using this fine for quite sometime (since the plugin was released) with no issues. However as of late, if I have the browser open I cannot use 1Password at all. It locks instantly, as soon as it unlocks it locks...before it can even auto-fill username/passwords into boxes. This locks the plugin in all browsers and the app itself. If I kill Firefox the problem goes away.

I have the beta plugins in Chrome/Safari, they work fine as long as Firefox isn't open.

OSX 10.7.4 with all released updates

1Password 3.8.20

Firefox 5.0.1 with plugin version 3.7.5

If there is resolution to the htaccess/httpauth login window issue then I would just upgraded to a more recent version of Firefox.

The extension needs to communicate with Helper (and the Helper with the main application), and there have been way too many changes in the 9 major updates to Firefox (from version 5 to 14) in order to guarantee compatibility with such an old version of Firefox (with known unpatched security vulnerabilities).

Sadly, it is not possible to add support for HTTP auth prompts in Firefox (or the current version of any other browser) since this requires access in the browser extension APIs and none of the browsers have yet provided support for this. I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you at this time.
