Do license terms permit use on more than one PC?

Hi

I bought the big licence bundle to use 1password on pc and mac. I also bought the ipad app.

My question is can i run 1password on 2 pc's? I have a server which i occasionally need to use to access the web and various sites and wanted to know if i can install and use on this machine as well as my standard desktop machine.

thanks

Each platform is licensed per user. You Windows license allows you to use 1Password on as many PCs as you can possibly afford as long as your are the only user of 1Password on the machine. The same is true for your Mac license. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Cheers! Enjoy the rest of your week (and 1Password on your server). <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />
  • Hi, I bought a family license for 5 users.

You write that the same PC license can be used on many PC's.

How does this work with the family license?

I dont want to spend licenses for the other users, because I'm running virtual machines & reinstalling.

    Welcome to the forums, Lasse!

1Password is licensed per-platform, per-user. So a SIngle User license of 1Password for Windows allows you — and only you — to use 1Password on as many PCs as you can possibly afford.

If others in your household will be using 1Password for Windows, you can purchase a Family License which allows up to five members in your household (including yourself) to use 1Password on as many PCs as you all can collectively afford.

Users are people not machines. If you are the only actual human using 1Password, you only need a Single User license regardless of the number of virtual machines or installations. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
