deactivate helper program

How can I deactivate helper program in version 3.8.20?

I doesn't found an appropriate option.

1Password 3.8 does not have an option to deactivate the 1PasswordAgent ("helper").

Oh, and how can I uninstall 1Password and the helper program?

Ok, I can move 1Password to trash, but the helper?

I uninstall 1Password 3.8.20 and I install 3.9.6 from Mac App Store <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/skype_smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':-)' />

If you are running 1Password 3.8.20 there is no need to unload the background process ("1PasswordAgent") since 1Password will unload it automatically when you launch the 3.9 version from the MAS.



If you open Activity Monitor (found in /Applications/Utilities) and search for "1Password" what do you see listed?

"1Password Helper" is the background process that [i]should[/i] be running if you are using 1Password 3.9 (from the Mac App Store).



If you see "1PasswordAgent" running after launching 1Password 3.9, then we need to resolve that.
