An error occurred while extracting the archive when upgrading from 3.5.9 (build 30884) to 3.8.20
I have recently installed Version 3.5.9 (build 30884) on my iMac and am trying to upgrade to 3.8.20.
Unfortunately the download process ends with the error:
"An error occurred while extracting the archive. Please try again."
Neither trying again, nor re-booting resolves the issue. Any advice would be appreciated.
My system details are as below:
1Password Version 3.5.9
iMac 21.5-inch, Mid 2010
Processor 3.06 GHz Intel Core i3
Memory 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Software OS X 10.8 (12A269)

Please try this, hcs:
1. Visit the 1Password download page:
http://agilebits.com/downloads
2. Click on the "Download Now" button under "1Password 3"
3. Quit your web browser and 1Password, if it's running
4. Drag the newly downloaded version of 1Password to the same location as any previous one -- replacing it
5. Run 1Password at least once and then your web browser
Your information is stored in a data file separate from the application, so it will not be harmed by this procedure.
