Windows Dropbox keychain file showing up as a folder

Hi,

So I've been using 1password on the Mac side without any problems.

Now, I'm trying to get it up and running on a PC and can't get it to open my keychain file in dropbox.

Dropbox has been working fine between several macs but on Windows the file appears as a folder. I've checked the extension and it is correctly coming up as "1password.agilekeychain".

I've tried copying the file to a thumb drive and putting it on the windows machine. No love.

HELP!

I need my passwords on this windows machine. What do I do?

Best,

Anthony

Welcome to the forums, Anthony! Thanks for your longtime support. Let's get 1Password for Windows working as well for you as 1Password does on your Mac. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

The 1Password.agilelkeychain data is what is called a "file bundle". This means that it shows up as a file in OS X but it is actually made up of several folders containing many files. On Windows it will appear as a folder and you will be able to see its contents. (You can also do this in OS X, but you must right-click on it and select "Show Package Contents" in order to see inside.)

If Dropbox syncing is working well between a couple (or more) of your Macs, you should be able to simple select 1Password.agilekeychain from the File > Open 1Password Data Folder menu item in 1Password for Windows presuming 1Password for Windows did not automatically detect your data in the Dropbox folder.

Do you have Dropbox installed in Windows? Does it indicate "All files up to date"?
