May I suggest a sticky on member photo specs?

Hello all,

I just tried to upload a variety of portrait sizes, resolutions, etc., etc., for the 'Member' image, and all were rejected by the system. I searched on "upload photo", "upload size", "member photo", etc., but the search engine returned null.

I am a photographer, so can produce any size, pixel density, etc., but without specs available somewhere, it's hit and miss; so far, only miss.

Advice please

Welcome to the forums, Kit! Presenting the image requirements in the avatar upload interface is really more of an IP.Board forum software issue, so perhaps you might want to report this to Invision Power Services, Inc., developers of this forum software.

These AgileBits forums actually do not appear to be accepting any image right now except in the admin control panel. I'll see if I can track down the cause. For now, and generally, we recommend using a Gravatar.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
