Trouble with Wallbase.cc Login

I am running the 1Password Firefox extension version 3.9.10 b1. Whenever I go to http://wallbase.cc/home and click the login button, the 1Password plugin does not complete the login details, and it stops working as long as Firefox is running (i.e. if I click on the key icon nothing happens). After a Firefox restart all is OK again (until I visit the site again and try log in).

Not a show-stopper, only a minor irritant. Just thought I'd let you know.

Thanks for reporting trouble with the http://wallbase.cc/home login form.

Your title said "crashing", but based on my testing (and your own description) nothing is crashing. Please let me know if you left out some details.

The password field is not getting filled there due to some strange code the site it using, but I will pass the URL along to the developers to see if we can work around this.

The other issue I was not able to reproduce at all. I saved a Login for the site, filled it, the password was not filled in, but the extension continued to work just fine.

Are you able to consistently reproduce the problem?

Try creating a new Firefox profile and install only the 1Password extension in it. Does the issue persist for you in the new profile?
  • I tried again this morning. Navigated to the site, tried to login using 1Password but 1Password did not fill in the login details (as you experienced above). This time however the extension carried on working. I don't have an explanation for this. I can say that the last ~20 visits to the site resulted in behaviour reported in my original post. Anyhow, I'll let you know if it happens again.

Thanks for the update. I'm glad it is only a run of the mill filling issue. Those are (usually) much easier to fix. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
