New user 1Password Pro, trying to sync to dropbox

Hello, I'm a new user. I was able to import my data into the desktop application, but when I try to sync from Dropbox, I'm getting an error "Unexpected problem with unlock code."

Can somebody help me figure this out? I went through the repair and start over steps, which did not work.

Welcome to the forums, Pam! Thanks for taking the time to contact us. I'm sorry that you are having some trouble.

Just to confirm, the "Unexpected problem with unlock code" is in the 1Password iPhone app, correct?

What specific action are you taking which results in that error message? Is it when you start the app? When you switch Dropbox syncing to "ON" in Settings > Sync?

To help us track down the issue more quickly, could you please send us a Diagnostics Report?

In 1Password 3.8, just select Help > Troubleshooting > Diagnostics Report from the menu bar.

If you are using 1Password 3.9 (from the Mac App Store), you'll need to follow the instructions here:

    http://support.agile...lebits-help-you

Then attach the entire file to an email to support AT agilebits.com.

Please include a link to this thread in order that we might more quickly "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, though.
  • Cripes. I just deleted the app and then reinstalled it and it seems to be working. Sorry to waste your time, but thank you for such a speedy response! Looking forward to using this app!
