Hi folks,
in the Mac version there is an option to add pictures to entries (e.g. a scan of driver license or passport). I would like to see this scanned images on my iPhone or iPad too.
Great if you are on vacation and lost your license ...

Hi Gert,
Did you test this yet in 1Password?
File attachments are supported right now, so go ahead and drag your images into your items and it'll sync to your 1Password apps on the iOS devices. It should show up as attachments on the bottom of your items and you can tap on it to view it.
Please let us know if it is not working.
Thanks!Flag 0 -
Hi Mike,
sure I tried ... did NOT work in the iOS versions of 1PW ... not in v3 nor now in v4.
On my Mac the attachment definitely is stored ...Flag 0 -
Hi Gert,
Well, that's unusual. It should've sync that jpeg file.

Can you go to Settings > Sync on your iPhone, do you see any errors listed here?

In addition, can you tell me if you're using Dropbox to sync your data?
Can you create a new item in 1Password 3 for Mac, attach a random image file to it and then let it sync, does it show up at all with the attachment?
Please let me know!Flag 0 -

Hi guys,
My apologies, I didn't realize that some items (Secure Notes) are missing the support for it now. I'm not sure if we pulled this recently because of a problem but I'll find out.
I do know for sure that Identities and Driver Licenses are supported.

So, Gert, you should still see an image in your Driver license, please do let me know if you see any sync issues or if the new item also doesn't have it.
Thanks!Flag 0 -
Hi Mike,
well I did the following: created a new Driver License in 1PW 3.9.6 on my Mac. Added the photo and synced with my iPhone 5 (6.0.1)
I see the new license in the version 3.7.2 of the app on my iPhone but I do NOT see any attachment there! <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />
also after copying the data to b27 there is NO picture to see ...
It seems that the jpg is NOT transferred to the iPhone from Mac to v3 during the sync ...

P.S. I do NOT use Dropbox sync ... only WiFi sync ...
P.P.S. As I could not upload the log-file here as text

Hi Gertz,
There is no file attachment support in 1Password 3 for iOS, it will never have this support. Only the 1Password 4 for iOS has support for this.
In addition, there is no Wi-Fi sync in 1Password 4, only the iTunes File Sharing can transfer the data file wirelessly.
Just to be clear, how are you transferring the data to 1Password 4 on your iPhone? Are you using iTunes File Sharing?Flag 0 -
Hi Mike,
maybe THERE is the problem ... I usually sync my data between Mac 3.9.6 and my iOS devices 3.7.2 using Wi-Fi sync.
As soon as I start the 3.7.2 on my iOS device I will be told that there is a "new 1Password app installed" and then I click on "Import into new 1Password"
As you said that the data are not synced to version 3 (I thought that they are not displayed only) it might be that that's the reason they are not present in version 4
Tried now syncing my Mac data to version 4 vis iTunes sync ... now it works ... SORRY FOR CONFUSION!Flag 0
