Blank entry syncing indicator

When viewing an item that I do not have entries for like a folder. We see a syncing overlay is this just to keep folks from freaking out if they don't see folders yet.
If the item already has entries the greyed out overlay is not shown. Even if its just 1 item for me a blank folder.
For me this setup is ok as I know to wait on the sync and or pull up the sync screen and or look in the bottom bar for the spinning gears.
I don't think there needs to be over kill here. Like show it any time it's syncing.
So what do you think about a compromise. When a sync is occurring. Change the gears to blue for example and back to grey when not. This would make it really stand out and let folks know what's happening etc.
In Apples rendition of this they use the white background and have the gears Turing in the box and its really easy to see. But with the shades of grey your using its not as obvious. Now I do use my phone outside in direct sunlight a lot so maybe that's an issue on my end.
Anyway more food for thought

Hi Tommy,
The goal is not to bother people about syncing, so it should be the last thing on their minds when using 1Password, that's why we're not doing any serious "LOOK! I'm syncing!". A blue color would shift their attention too much. Right now, we're getting good feedback from our beloved customers suggesting that they're noticing the spinning gears on the Settings icon. So, I think we're okay for now.
However, we do plan to add an error badge down the line, so that if there's an issue with the sync, there'll be some colors shifting to direct the user's attention.
Again, awesome of you to bring this up!Flag 0
