Use Keyhole to unlock.

Silly request: After entering the Master Password, I am tempted to touch the big keyhole icon above the password area. I know I'm supposed to touch the unlock button to the right, but that (much larger) keyhole is just begging to be "unlocked" as well.

Silly I know...

    Interesting idea.

I have a big thumb <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> have you noticed the keyhole area is just perfectly situated for a thumb press for example. Having big paws my thumb just fits perfectly in that area. It's like that's what it was made for.

It's also more of a relaxed motion
  • Really interesting idea, I like it. Assuming it will pass a usability test, I think it could be helpful for some, as long as the regular unlock button stays.

Yes I agree the standard button has to stay.

Thanks for actually bringing this up, even if you may think it is silly, we still want to know it!

  • I will add my +1 to this idea.
  • Great idea. I would just make both buttons usable.

That would be the way to go as most people wouldn't think to tap on the keyhole. It'd be a surprise. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
