Translation Problem

Hey Folks,



I found a UI problem in the german translation. In the detail controller for logins is the username string in german "Benutzername" to long. The characters "me" are on the next line. It looks really strange and I would consider to increase the width of the titleLabel, resize the font or use a different translation like "Benutzer".

Hi Andreas, let me answer that. There are already a few threads about it, and AgileBits is aware of it. It's a localization problem and probably also exists for other languages. They are looking for a solution, though is not easy. But they know. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

As Blacklight mentioned, we're trying to find a way to do this. We've already maximize the width recently but it's not enough. We're looking into word-wrapping but even that has its own challenges. There are pros and cons of everything we try to improve here and unfortunately, there might not be a good compromise between them other then to change the entire interface to fit it.



We'll keep looking into it.
