Cross platform, cross version question

With the announcement of 1Pv4 for iOS, and the eventual release of 1Pv4 for Mac, I wanted to confirm that 1Password will continue to be fully cross platform compatible, between Mac, Windows, and iOS, regardless of the version (using Dropbox to sync)?

For example, if I upgrade one Mac to v4, but another is still on v3, and I've also got a Windows version, and one iOS device uses v4 and another iOS device uses v3, will they all still play nicely together when syncing through Dropbox?

Yep. From the newsletter we recently sent out to all of the newsletter subscribers:
In addition to continued support, 1Password 3 can sync its data with the new 1Password. This allows you to have access to all your data, even on devices that cannot be upgraded to iOS 6.
1Password 3 and 1Password 4 will be able to sync together.

I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Cheers,
  • My main 'concern' was between iOS/Mac and the PC version. But sounds like there should be no problems.

    Thanks.

Correct. Everything will continue to sync across all supported platforms. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
