Trash Folder on iOS?

Is there any way to view or clear deleted items on the iOS version of 1Password?

whoa talk about something I didn't even think about. This would be nice, make sure there is a restore button etc

Nice question, hope there is an equally good answer. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

    Hi guys,

There is no Trash in the iOS app yet. When you edit the item and tap on the "Delete" button on the bottom, the text changes to "Restore" and you'd be able to restore it if you deleted it accidentally.

Once you tap on "Done", the item will be deleted and marked as trashed in your data file. It will automatically be removed from the view, so there's no "clear deleted items" button needed.

If you swipe on an item to tap on the Trash icon, it's automatically deleted and removed from the list. Again, it's marked as trashed in your data file.

So, if your items are marked as trashed, they can still be retrieved later with the desktop apps (trials are available if needed) or if we were to add a trash feature to the iOS app.

Seeing as how you have 1P iOS setup to not require the desktop app to setup Dropbox syncing. At least I think I read that. It's my sincere hope you add the trash to iOS. The way I see it its one less hurdle to go over when so many people don't have a personal computer.

It's you guys choice but I am so impressed with the work so far it would be a shame not to add this into the app.

Also what if your traveling and need to retrieve it.

I have been bragging about it in generic terms lately.

So here is my + 6 for all the members in my family.
  • I agree that it would be nice to have a Trash in iOS so it can behave as a standalone program.

    Hi guys,

Yes, the iOS app no longer needs the desktop apps for setting up Dropbox or iCloud, so this lack of trash folder would be the last thing standing to make it truly a standalone app. Hopefully, we add this and I made a note to the team about this.
