4.0b46 (400146) Pop Up Menu On Revealed Password

Doesn't show conceal. It continues to show Reveal which doesn't make sense. I also notice that you cannot swipe over a concealed password to reveal it like you could in previous versions.

Same behaviour on both iPhone and iPad.

Thanks! I updated the info we have for this in our tracker. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

I would still like the swipe to reveal gesture to return though ;)

    Hi,

Glad to hear it's working now. I'm not sure what the gesture you're referring to (swipe on the password field to reveal or something else?), I don't think we ever officially supported this.

Can you tell me if this was in a 1Password 4 beta or in 1Password 3?

    1password 3 on iPad.

Wow, I didn't even know it did that.

I'll ask if we can re-implement it for 1Password 4.

I thought it was a novel use of the swipe gesture that so often means delete in other apps. Really intuitive I think.

    Hi Penelope,

You're right but note the keyword, delete. When you're not planning to delete it, it wasn't intuitive to me to think it was going to reveal the password since it's not a delete option nor was the item in the edit mode.

I wonder how many people knew about this, I'll ask the team but it is likely we didn't add this back because it wasn't used.
