4.0b46 (400146) alphabetical sub sort order not correct

With b46 the alphabetical sub sort order is wrong so per section the main sort order is by alphabet but in the same range A, B, C etc. the sub sort order is not alphabetical.

affected sections are:

logins

software licences

driver licences

servers

wireless routers

bank accounts

social security numbers

pasports

e-mail accounts

identies (not applicable)

EDIT: I erased all data and did a new Dropbox sync. Results are unchanged.

I noticed this as well. Not sure what is going on, but I have filed this for the developers to look at. Thanks for reporting it. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

@Khad So no reason to worry about or restoring a backup?

I don't think there is any reason to worry. Backups are always essential —even more so while beta testing — but I wouldn't worry about just yet. It looks like the data is perfectly fine just the sort order is messed up for some reason. Until I can get more details from the developers it is probably best to sit tight.

    Strange nobody else noticed this...

I agree, it was the first thing I noticed. But it has been resolved in the code. You should see it fixed soon. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
  • I can confirm this behavior with 4.0b46.

    Hi guys,

This should be fixed in beta 47. Thanks for reporting this.

is solved in the final. (which I don't understand)

EDIT: Now I do as the 4.0.2 release is same as b42. The sorting problems started at b46

I'm not sure I understand your post, mgshoutman. Are you saying you are still seeing the issue? If so, which specific version are you seeing the issue in? Please be sure you are running the latest build.

I use the "final" build 4.0.2 which must be the same as b42 and is available in the App Store. As this release was send to Apple a few weeks ago, I discovered the sorting order bug started afterwards at b46.

You guys made this whole thing confusing yourselves by not informing the beta team on the App Store release. As stated else where on this forum I stopped beta testing due to lack of communication. Sorry.

The sort order is correct in both the latest stable and beta builds. If you are not using the beta builds please postin the regular iOS forum instead of this beta forum.
