Quick Unlock Code and Auto-Lock
Have you tried the Quick Unlock Code that can be set in the Settings > Security?

That is not working as I expected. There are only two instances when the Quick Unlock Code field presents itself. 1) if I have the app open until the auto lock time is triggered, then I get the field to enter the code, or 2) if I have the setting to lock on exit enabled when I return to the app I get the code field presented. My settings are lock on exit - off, auto lock - on, and quick unlock code on. If I leave the app to go to the home screen or another app and then return, the 1Password just opens, no code required. If the auto lock period has passed I have to reenter the master password, so most of the time I'm having to reenter my master password. My understanding was that if the quick code is enabled any time you leave the app and return you would have to enter it, and only have to enter that code when the auto lock time period has passed regardless of whether the app was open or not. Is this not correct.

I believe your understanding is correct. The problem is that there is a bug where only "Lock on Exit" will prompt for the Quick Unlock Code. Currently, if the Auto-Lock timeout elapses you will need to enter your master password regardless of your Quick Unlock Code setting. This has already been fixed in the code and will be available soon in an update, so Quick Unlock Code + Auto-Lock will work as expected.
I hope that helps explain the situation a bit, and I apologize for any confusion.Flag 0 -

Thanks for asking this question, pappjo. I had only been playing with thequick unlock for a day and thought it wasn't working because of my misunderstanding. Also thanks to the staff too.Flag 0
