TrojanDropper in 1Password Chrome Extension?

Is there a virus or trojan in your Chrome Extension? It's the only thing I'd installed when I got infected... plus, now when I delete the extension it keeps coming back.

    Welcome to the forums, g. I'm sorry you had some trouble with some malware.



    I can assure you that if you downloaded the 1Password Chrome extension via 1Password's preferences from htts://agilebits.com/ it does not contain any malware. Browser extensions are actually sandboxed, so it would not be possible for the 1Password Chrome extension to infect your entire machine.



    If you're having trouble installing or uninstalling extensions, you might have a corrupt Chrome profile. Presuming you have already addressed the malware issue, try creating a a new Chrome profile:
