Email notifications: IP.Board is a cantankerous son of a gun

Thanks. How come I am not receiving email notifications when replies to my topic are posted here? My settings are set so that I am supposed to receive emails, but I never get any.



Are your servers just slammed?

    IP.Board is old and frustrated. He seems to only send email notifications when he feels like it. It's been an ongoing problem. For now, I recommend just viewing your unread messages using the "[url="http://forum.agilebits.com/index.php?app=core&module=search&do=user_activity&mid=75834"]Find Content[/url]" link on your profile page. (That link is specific to you.)

    Khad, I have the same problem in this forum. I never get sent any emails about new posts being submitted to thread I participated in. So what I do is just keep the thread open on my iPad and then reload the page to manually check for anything new. But it would be nice if the forum would send me an email so I wouldn't have to do that.



    Not only that, but this forum also appears to dislike my Avatar pic. Shows up just fine when I view my profile, but it's missing next to my posts.

    I was able to manually update your avatar or profile photo or whatever IP.Board calls it. It is now showing up everywhere in my testing. Let me know if you have more trouble with it.



    I agree that reliable email notifications would be nice, but so far we've been unable to come to an agreement with IP.Board. He is a cantankerous son of a gun.



    I would recommend simply using the "Find Content" button on your profile page. Unread threads will be highlighted as such.
