ipassword on ipad: stuck on "checking icloud"

northernminer
edited January 2013 in iOS
I purchased 1password for iOS, and had no issues loading on the iphone5. synced to icloud with no issues also. installed app on the ipad (ipad 2), and app would not get beyond first screen. the "checking icloud" animation just kept going...

tried some of the tips on the forum: turned off "documents and data" in icloud settings, rebooted, turned on again.. same result.

anyone else experience the same problem ?

I followed khad's instructions but still no difference.

I went into the Windows 7 iCloud desktop management application and from under the "Manage iCloud Storage" option I deleted the onepassword > Documents & Data file. After that when I went back to the iPad it looked for the iCloud connection for a few seconds and then acted like a new install (which it was). I was then able to sync with DropBox first and then turned on iCloud as well. Everything synced as expected and then I opened the iPhone 1Password app and it did it's thing.

Everything looked good for a bit. Then when I rebooted everything again and tried to open 1PW4 on the iPhone it froze. I deleted the iCloud data again (as above) and then turned off iCloud syncing altogether on the iPhone and iPad both; I'm content with Dropbox for now. I'll note I also have the 1Password Windows desktop application so I never worried that I was blowing out all my data...

Thanks, northernminer. We'll work with you via email to resolve the issue so we're not duplicating efforts here on the forums.

gptbob, if you're still having trouble and decide you want to try iCloud again, please email us your diagnostics too: Settings > Advanced > Troubleshooting > Email Diagnostics

I'm going to close this thread for now so we can make sure we're all on the same page (i.e. email). Please do start another thread if you are having a different issue (or mention it in your email as well).

    Thanks!
