Mac not syncing with Dropbox causing all my updated passwords to be incorrect! [RESOLVED by maki
Hey guys,
Last night I upgraded to 3.9 from the MAS and set about changing a whole bunch of my old passwords. Today, I found that my passwords are not in sync and have actually reverted to the previous version (yesterday mornings version).
In the preference pane of 1password 3.9.6, it shows that my data is stored in my user folder, even though I selected the dropbox version when I installed the app.
I cannot seem to get my Mac to "Use Dropbox" (the button is greyed out) since the update. Strangley enough, all my iOS devices were synced last night and today they too are all out-of-whack...
As I mentioned, this has cause many of the passwords I changed last night to become out-of-sync (cannot access those pages/accounts).
I tried reinstalling 1Password but it did the same thing...
Any ideas? This is really a PITA after version 3.8 worked flawlessly for so long (on the demo).
Thanks,
-Aaron

I should add, I've done the following:
-removed my agilekeychain from its location in users/*/library//documents/1Password.agilekeychain
-moved the old agilekeychaing from my dropbox folder to the desktop and then used the sync function on my iPhone. This created a new agilekeychain document in dropbox at the root level
-rebooted 1Password and selected "I have already used 1Password"
-Selected the 1Password.agilekeychain that resides in the root level of my dropbox account that was just created by the iPhone sync
-1Password still boots with the OLD data from the old agilekeychain and not the data that is on the iPhone.
-Cleared the cache for 1Password and tried again, same result
-Tried putting the agilekeychain in a folder labled "1Password" inside dropbox, same result
In the end, no matter what I've tried I cannot get my iPhone/iPad to read the same agilekeychain data that my Mac is seemingly using, or vise-versa. Like I mentioned, last night this was all working peachy, so I'm not sure why the sudden pain in the butt <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':(' />

Another update:
-I double-clicked the agilekeychain that resides in the root level of my Dropbox (the file created by the iPhone when it syncs) and 1Password on my Mac asked if I'd like to use that data file instead. I selected yes and now my Mac matches my phone, but they still will not sync. In the preference pane on my Mac, I still cannot selected "use dropbox" as it is still greyed out and my agilekeychain is still shown as residing deep in my user folder.
I hope this is just a simple fix and somthing I've done wrong, otherwise I might loose my mind <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
Thanks again,

Never mind... I thought I had my dropbox folder on the desktop as an alias... turns out it was the actual folder, hence why 1Password didn't see it in my user folder. Took reinstalling dropbox to find that out, but hey, it works now <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
Thanks for the patience,
