New Item In Folder acts like a sub-folder
When you add an item to a folder following these steps, it will ask for a name just like if you were adding a folder. It fixes itself if you press back then click the folder again.
1) Create a folder.
2) Click on the edit button.
3) Press the green + to add a new folder.
4) Delete that folder.
5) Press the + to add an item.
The item now asks for a name.
1) Create a folder.
2) Click on the edit button.
3) Press the green + to add a new folder.
4) Delete that folder.
5) Press the + to add an item.
The item now asks for a name.

I'm trying to reproduce this. Could you give some clarification?
1. I'm assuming you mean "Create a folder in the root level by tapping Edit and then Create a new folder with the circled green + button". Let me know if any of that is incorrect.
2. 3. Are these supposed to be sub-steps of 1? Or is this a new folder? Is it on the same level as the first folder you created or a subfolder of the first one?
4. Which folder are you deleting? The first one or the second one?
5. I take it that you mean the + button in the upper left corner of the screen while in Edit mode inside a folder since such a + button is not available in the root level.
I've tried a few different combinations trying to reproduce, but it might be simpler if you can provide the answers to the above.
Thanks. We really appreciate it!Flag 0 -
Sorry for not responding earlier, I forgot that I don't get emails for replies here.
To answer your questions:
1) Yes, I meant on the root level, let's call it "my folder".
2 & 3) This is a folder inside the folder you made in step 1, let's call it "sub folder".
4) You are deleting the "sub folder" which is inside "my folder".
5) Yes, after deleting "sub folder", click the + button inside "my folder" and add an item to "my folder".
That item will now ask for a name, which will not be saved when you go to the root view then back into "my folder".
This bug still occurs in 1Password 4.1.Flag 0 -
Hm. Try as I might, I still can't seem to reproduce this even though it sounds like you can do so consistently. Is this on iPhone, iPad or both? It just occurred to me that you never specified. I had initially been testing on iPhone, but I also tried on iPad. Which specific models are you using? I can't imagine it would be relevant but it could be.
I'll get some others on the team to look at this as well. Thanks!Flag 0 -
I almost asked if you could record a video but didn't want to trouble you. Thanks a million for making a video anyway. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />
I think the important thing is to not tap "Done" on the subfolder creation. I think I was doing that and then trying to delete it afterwards in which case the issue does not present itself. It is very clear from the video, though. I'll get this filed so we can resolve it in an update. I genuinely appreciate your persistence.Flag 0
