1PasswordAnywhere not designed for mobile use

I'm having a very hard time dealing with the rendering of the 1password anywhere webpage when view in iOS, both with Safari and Chrome. I access it via http://www.dropbox.com/ (not the dropbox app), since it doesn't work when being called directly from the iOS dropbox app.

Trying to zoom into the details of the login entry gets covered by the list of logins. I also can't seem to easily copy just the password, it always want to copy the entire block.

Anyone else seeing issues with using 1password anywhere on iOS?

    Hi xReD-BaRoNx,

    Welcome to the forums!

    I notice similar problems.

I'm not sure any effort has been put into making the 1PW Anywhere app work on iOS browsers because a native iOS app is available. That said I can imagine a scenario where I didn't have any of my devices available and wanted to access my keychain via a friend's device.

No idea what appetite Agile would have for fixing this.

I guess this shows how little I use 1PasswordAnywhere. The native app experience is much more pleasant on a mobile device.

I'm pretty sure something must have changed in Mobile Safari since as far as I can remember it used to work more smoothly. I'll mention it to the developers to see if there is a quick fix. In the meantime, you probably want to use the native 1Password apps that we provide for iOS (and Android and Windows Phone) rather than 1PasswordAnywhere or use it in Safari, Firefox, or Chrome on the desktop where it is designed to work.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can help with!
  • I don't want to pay all the iOS devices in my household. Becomes expensive. Just need read-only support.

1Password 4 for iOS is a universal app. Buy it once and install it on every iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad you can possibly ever afford at no additional cost. (iOS 6 required.)
