Apple does not provide a mobile version of the iCloud website

Upgraded to new version (now 4.1) on ipad recently, generally very nice. One small irritation I have noticed is that I cannot login to iCloud using built in browser.. The login directs to an iPad welcome screen and requests that I set up iCloud (my iPad is already set up). Any ideas? Thx !

Welcome to the forums, AugustClark! Thanks for taking the time to contact us. I'm sorry that you are having some trouble.

This is controlled by Apple. It is the same in Safari. Apple wants you to use the native apps on the device. There is no iCloud web interface for iPhone or iPad because of this.
  • Khad, thanks for the clarification and for the quick reply! This is only a minor issue, so does not detract from using this excellent app. By the way, is a new Mac version coming any time soon?

It is my pleasure to help. We don't normally pre-announce release dates as too many factors (some beyond our control) affect them. Please stay tuned. <img src='http://forum.agilebits.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />
